Came across these steampunk paintings of mecha and werewolves attacking European peasants. The artist is Jakub Rozalski, who goes by the sobriquet “Mr. Werewolf”, and his paintings are from a set titled World of 1920+, an alternate history that inspired the board game Scythe and a video game. The paintings are wonderful, and I’d definitely read the book that had any of these paintings as the cover art.

Star Trek
I know this is a little late, but how cool is this image? Starfleet on the ISS. It reminds of why I fell in love with science fiction in the first place. It’s not the Starfleet uniform, which is awesome to see, but just the wonder of being up there and pushing boundaries.

A recent radio interview that I did
Here’s a recent radio interview I did about my writing career. It sounds weird calling it a writing career, but I talk about The Castes and the OutCastes and my newest book, William Wilde and the Necrosed. It’s a YA fantasy that’s kind of a mix between Stranger Things and Percy Jackson. Anyway, here’s the interview.
Most of these seem like they could be illustrations for the book Leviathan by Scott Westerfield.
